About Personomist
Know yourself in detail, not in types.
Personomist helps people understand themselves: how they think, feel and act, how others see them, and what might help. For psychologists and counsellors, it gives a reliable basis for conversations with the people they work with. For organisations, it measures wellbeing across teams without showing anyone's individual answers, and in recruitment it shows how closely a candidate resembles the profile of a role. We say only what the data can support.
Grounded in science
Our measures rest on peer-reviewed research and data on tens of thousands of people.
Transparency
We explain what results show and what they don't: resemblance, not ability, and a current state, not a diagnosis.
Mental health
We help people notice and support their wellbeing, on their own or with a specialist.

Funders
The ASTRA+ project
The research and development behind Personomist was supported by the ASTRA+ measure of the State Information Systems Centre. The project developed the basis of a digital application for science-based psychological assessment. Its aim is to give people, and the specialists who work with them, reliable and many-sided feedback on personality and other psychological characteristics. Its innovation lies in using big data and machine learning and in integrating descriptions from several sources, which makes the results more reproducible and more nuanced.
Aim
To raise the innovation readiness of the research of the University of Tartu Institute of Psychology's personality and wellbeing research group, by developing a prototype of the digital application and structuring its business model and market position.
Result
A working prototype with an integrated analytics engine and user interface, tested with users. The set of science-based measures was extended, and a business model description, market analysis and competitor comparison were prepared. The technology readiness level rose from 4 to 5 and the business model readiness level from 1 to 2.
